Construction of a logistics platform

The new logistics centre and head office of Back Europ France - national leader in the distribution of raw materials, supplies and small equipment to bakeries and patisseries - is located in Plougoumelen, halfway between its former head office in Vannes and its logistics platform in Landévant.

This new platform replaces two Back Europ sites that were no longer adapted to the company's needs due to its strong growth.

The platform, which acts as a link between the central office and the distributors, is designed to optimise all the logistics stages from the manufacturers to the distributors' depots.

This involves the massification of deliveries, the control of products from the moment they enter the warehouse until they leave, the storage of dry, fresh and frozen goods over a surface area of 16,404 m², and the distribution of goods to distributors thanks to the platform's 24 lorries.
