Operational urban planning for the Confluence district in Lyon
The development of the Confluence is a virtuous model that respects the threefold environmental, social and societal requirements set by the elected representatives, the local authority and the developer. This phase of the project, entrusted to CoBe, represents a great opportunity to implement urban measures that will enable the objectives set by the SPL to become a reality.
As a result, CoBe has been able to define the main principles for the continued development of the Confluence. The project is part of a strong ambition for a sustainable city: adaptation to climate change, quality of life, comfort of use... It crystallises a strong expectation in terms of innovation, and this innovation must be accessible and appropriable by all. For us, a project by and for everyone means a project that gives pride of place to inclusivity and universal accessibility, to citizen participation, that is concerned with the place of children in the city, with intergenerational links, etc. La Confluence is a major redevelopment project which, when completed, will put the finishing touches to the story of the reclamation of the peninsula.
