The Fort d'Aubervilliers is a place known to all the inhabitants of the Ile-de-France. Today it is a waiting area where many uses are already in place. The ambition to build a metropolitan district is now a reality, particularly with the arrival of a new train station and the Olympic aquatic centre.
The ability to understand what has been planned, to dialogue with the occupants of the site and all the partners is necessary to produce a development plan. Particular attention is paid to what is already there: life, uses, materials, with a commitment to economy of means and reuse within the site.
A veritable green lung at the heart of the future Fort d'Aubervilliers district, the Parc des Portes is located on a military wasteland and showcases its built heritage in a natural setting.
Conceived as the backbone of the urban project, the park acts as a link between the many existing natural spaces on the site and the future living areas of the district, above all by encouraging soft modes of transport.
