CoBe has been selected to bring the City Hall district project into the operational phase. The release of the 5ha right-of-way occupied by the company KDI opens up the opportunity to create a real town centre for La Courneuve, while respecting the existing urban fabric. This will eventually accommodate around 1,000 additional housing units, a school complex and generous public spaces that will provide a link with the surrounding neighbourhoods. The KDI site will be one of 30 pilot sites to implement the "urban metabolism" approach carried by Plaine Commune, aimed at developing the circular economy in the implementation of the project.
